Academic Interests

I aim to improve the lives of persons living with amputation through investigations into cognitive motor control networks to better understand the neural circuitry underlying goal-directed movements. My research investigates the translation of learned skills across limbs. Early exposure and training with a prosthesis simulator during pre-fitting medical treatment period may encourage device utilization and improve functional outcomes.
